Ford Q3 Profit Falls to $2.05 Billion as Revenue Slips 2%

Ford Motor Co. (F) reported third-quarter earnings of $2.049 billion, or $0.50 per share, down from $2.447 billion, or $0.60 per share, in the same period last year. Excluding certain items, the automaker posted adjusted earnings of $1.978 billion, or $0.49 per share. Revenue for the quarter declined 2.0% to $49.5 billion from $50.5 billion a year earlier, according to the company's GAAP results.
