Fulton Financial Posts Q3 Net Income of $116.7 Million, Tops Analyst Estimates

Fulton Financial Corp. (FULT) reported third-quarter net income of $116.7 million on Wednesday, with adjusted earnings of 62 cents per share beating the 55-cent consensus estimate from five Zacks-surveyed analysts. The Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based bank recorded earnings of 59 cents per share on a reported basis. Revenue for the period totaled $518.1 million, while revenue net of interest expense came in at $371.6 million, also exceeding Street forecasts of $367.3 million from three analysts. The results reflect continued earnings growth for the financial holding company.
