GATX Q3 Profit Rises to $105.2 Million as Revenue Jumps 36%; Raises Full-Year EPS Outlook

GATX Corp. (GATX) reported third-quarter earnings of $105.2 million, or $2.92 per share, up from $82.2 million, or $2.25 per share, in the same period last year. Revenue for the quarter rose 36.1% to $598.0 million from $439.3 million a year earlier, the railcar lessor said. Adjusted earnings matched GAAP results at $105.2 million, or $2.92 per share. The company guided full-year earnings per share to a range of $9.90 to $10.30.
