Gilead Sciences Q3 Profit Falls to $2.43B as Revenue Rises 6.8%

Gilead Sciences Inc. (GILD) reported third-quarter earnings of $2.429 billion, or $1.94 per share, down from $3.052 billion, or $2.43 per share, in the same period last year. Adjusted earnings, excluding items, came in at $3.186 billion, or $2.55 per share. Revenue for the quarter rose 6.8% to $8.300 billion from $7.769 billion a year earlier. The company issued full-year EPS guidance of a loss between $1.20 and $0.85.
