Genmab, Incyte Launch Phase 1/2 Trial of Petosemtamab-Plus-INCB161734 in KRAS G12D Colorectal Cancer
Genmab A/S (GMAB) and Incyte (INCY) have entered into a clinical trial collaboration to test a combination therapy in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) harboring a KRAS G12D mutation, a population with significant unmet medical need. Genmab will lead a Phase 1/2 study evaluating its investigational bispecific antibody petosemtamab alongside Incyte's KRAS G12D inhibitor INCB161734 and standard-of-care chemotherapy as first-line treatment. Petosemtamab targets both EGFR and LGR5; INCB161734 is a selective KRAS G12D inhibitor. Incyte will supply INCB161734 and co-fund the trial, while Genmab will conduct the study. The partners aim to determine whether the combination improves outcomes for patients whose cancers are driven by the KRAS G12D mutation.
