Horizon Bancorp Posts $28.7 Million Q3 Net Income, Beats Analyst Estimates

Horizon Bancorp (HBNC) reported third-quarter net income of $28.7 million on Wednesday, with earnings of 56 cents per share exceeding Wall Street expectations. The Michigan City, Indiana-based bank holding company topped the average estimate of 53 cents per share from three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research. Revenue for the period totaled $103 million. Revenue net of interest expense came in at $77.1 million.
