Hartford Insurance Group Posts Higher Q3 Profit, Revenue Up 3.9% to $7.22 Billion

Hartford Insurance Group, Inc. (HIG) reported higher third-quarter earnings compared with a year earlier, with net income rising to $1.317 billion, or $4.82 per share, from $1.074 billion, or $3.77 per share. Excluding items, the insurer posted adjusted earnings of $965 million, or $3.50 per share, for the period. Revenue rose 3.9% to $7.220 billion from $6.946 billion last year.
