Huntington Ingalls Q3 Profit Rises to $217 Million as Revenue Climbs 10.8%

Huntington Ingalls Industries Inc. (HII) reported third-quarter earnings of $217 million, or $5.48 per share, up from $145 million, or $3.68 per share, a year earlier. Revenue for the period rose 10.8% to $3.537 billion from $3.192 billion, the shipbuilder said. The company guided its shipbuilding revenue range to between $10.5 billion and $10.7 billion.
