Health In Tech Names Sanjay Shrestha CEO, Succeeding Founder Tim Johnson

Health In Tech, Inc. (HIT) appointed Sanjay Shrestha as chief executive officer, effective October 20, 2026, succeeding founder Tim Johnson, who becomes executive chairman of the board. The AI-enabled InsurTech platform said the change supports its next growth phase, focused on scaling its technology marketplace, accelerating commercial adoption, strengthening operating capabilities and pursuing strategic opportunities. Shrestha served as an independent director of Health In Tech from April 2025 to August 2026 and became strategic advisor to the board in September 2026. He was previously president of Plug Power, Inc. and is founder and CEO of Shrestha Global EPG Advisory, LLC.
