Honeywell Launches Forge Plant Cognition AI Platform, Debuts at Dangote Refinery

Honeywell (HON) launched Forge Plant Cognition on Monday, an industrial AI platform built on NVIDIA AI technology and Dell Technologies' AI infrastructure, targeting refining, petrochemical and LNG operators seeking to improve plant operations and extract more value from existing assets. The platform will first deploy at Dangote's Lekki refinery in Nigeria to boost production and strengthen local engineering and operations capabilities. Preliminary estimates indicate the platform could deliver more than $0.29 in benefits per barrel, yielding over $60 million in annual gross benefits at full-capacity operations. Honeywell shares were trading 0.52 percent lower at $220.00 on the Nasdaq.
