Hershey Q3 Profit More Than Doubles to $580.8 Million as Revenue Rises 3%

Hershey Co. (HSY) reported third-quarter net income of $580.814 million, or $2.88 per share, more than double the $276.320 million, or $1.36 per share, posted a year earlier. Excluding items, adjusted earnings were $532.728 million, or $2.64 per share. Revenue rose 3.0% to $3.275 billion from $3.181 billion. The chocolate maker guided full-year earnings per share to a range of $8.58 to $8.74 and projected full-year revenue growth of 5%.
