HomeTrust Bancshares Posts $18 Million Q3 Profit, Beats Analyst Estimates

HomeTrust Bancshares Inc. (HTB) reported third-quarter profit of $18 million on Wednesday, with earnings of $1.11 per share topping Wall Street expectations of 88 cents per share, according to a Zacks Investment Research survey of three analysts. The Asheville, North Carolina-based bank holding company posted revenue of $72 million for the period. Revenue net of interest expense came in at $56 million, also surpassing Street forecasts of $54.3 million. The results reflect stronger-than-expected performance across both earnings and revenue metrics for the quarter.
