Immutep Limited (IMMP) reported health-related quality-of-life data from the Phase II EFTISARC-NEO trial of eftilagimod alfa combined with pembrolizumab and radiotherapy as neoadjuvant treatment for resectable soft tissue sarcoma, with no statistically significant deterioration on any measured scale during treatment. Post-surgery, the QLQ-C30 summary score improved 6.0 points (p=0.008), role functioning rose 12.7 points (p=0.02) and social functioning 8.1 points (p=0.02); patient-reported fatigue improved by up to 14.2 points from baseline (p=0.001). Investigators concluded the regimen caused no significant detriment to overall quality of life. The trial enrolled 40 patients, 38 evaluable for the primary endpoint. Previously reported results showed median tumor hyalinization/fibrosis of 51.5%, exceeding the prespecified 35% target (p<0.001). The findings are being presented as an ePoster at the ESMO Congress 2026, held October 23-27 in Madrid; the investigator-initiated study is led by the Maria Sklodowska-Curie National Research Institute of Oncology in Warsaw. IMMP traded at $3.20, up 1.91%.
