Indeed has put its entire 308,000-square-foot space in Indeed Tower at 200 West 6th Street in Downtown Austin up for sublease, making it the second-largest sublease offering in the district, the Austin Business Journal reported. The job-search company, which previously listed 10,000 square feet across three unused floors in 2023, said it will consolidate its Austin workforce at The Domain—the city's "second downtown"—if a tenant takes the space, to better utilize both buildings and serve hybrid employees. Meta, owner of the largest Downtown Austin sublease at the Sixth and Guadalupe building, has trimmed its offering to just over 456,000 square feet from the 589,000 square feet it leased but never occupied, after signing a new 32,000-square-foot lease with InKind. The company's sublease roster also includes The Malin, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Weaver and Tidwell. Recent activity includes Google subleasing the top six floors of Sail Tower to Digital Realty Trust and Athenahealth subleasing 112,300 square feet at Seaholm Power Plant to xAI. CBRE reported that Austin office vacancy and availability continue to climb, partly due to the completion of Waterline Tower.
