S&C Electric Leases 295,000 SF at Former Allstate Campus in Glenview
Power equipment provider S&C Electric will lease a 295,000-square-foot warehouse at the Logistics Campus on I-294 in Glenview, a former Allstate office campus converted to industrial use in 2022 by Nevada-based Dermody Properties. Dermody bought the campus for $232 million, betting industrial development suited the area better than suburban offices. It sold two fully leased warehouses last year for $177 million to an affiliate of REIT Realty Income. S&C's lease covers 2601 Protection Parkway. Half of the campus's built warehouses are now fully leased; other tenants include HuFriedy Group and Upside Foods, which has not yet built a planned production plant. Three unleased buildings offer 318,000 square feet, with 77 acres remaining for built-to-suit projects. The lease will serve as S&C's central warehouse, consolidating inventory supporting its manufacturing operations.
