Itron Q3 Earnings Beat Estimates at $1.94 Per Share, Revenue Tops Forecasts

Itron Inc. (ITRI) on Tuesday reported third-quarter adjusted earnings of $1.94 per share, exceeding the $1.57 average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research. Net income was $71.4 million, or $1.61 per share. The Liberty Lake, Washington-based energy and water meter company posted revenue of $599.3 million, also beating the $596.5 million Street forecast. For the fourth quarter ending in December, Itron expects per-share earnings of $1.70 to $1.80 and revenue of $621 million to $636 million. Full-year earnings are projected at $6.72 to $6.82 per share, with revenue of $2.37 billion to $2.38 billion.
