Indonesia's Jakarta Composite Index is expected to open higher Thursday, extending a two-session rally that has added more than 330 points, or 6.5 percent. The index closed up 49.47 points, or 0.94 percent, at a daily high of 5,328.36 after touching a low of 5,185.36. Gains in infrastructure, financial and agriculture stocks lifted the benchmark. The positive lead follows a firm session on Wall Street, where the Dow rose 0.69 percent to 52,856.09, the NASDAQ gained 1.05 percent to 26,702.86 and the S&P 500 added 0.58 percent to 7,757.17, helped by tech-sector strength and earnings news from SpaceX (SPCX), Tesla (TSLA) and Super Micro Computer (SMCI). Asian markets are expected to open higher on easing oil prices. West Texas Intermediate crude for December delivery fell $0.69, or 0.71 percent, to $97.13 per barrel on reports of progress in Strait of Hormuz shipping traffic.
