Indonesia's Jakarta Composite Index is expected to extend its winning streak on Tuesday after finishing higher in two straight sessions, gaining nearly 110 points or 1.8 percent. The JCI closed Friday up 55.02 points, or 0.81 percent, at a daily high of 6,874.93, just shy of the 6,875-point plateau. The index traded as low as 6,819.53 during the session. Resource and financial stocks led Friday's gains, offsetting weakness in cement shares. Bank Mandiri rose 2.31 percent, Bumi Resources surged 5.33 percent, Aneka Tambang added 2.20 percent, and United Tractors gained 2.00 percent. Indocement fell 2.00 percent and Semen Indonesia dropped 1.05 percent. The positive regional outlook follows a solid Wall Street session, with the NASDAQ surging 2.01 percent to 11,364.41 and the S&P 500 rising 1.19 percent to 4,019.81. Technology stocks led U.S. gains, as the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index jumped 5.0 percent. Crude oil settled flat at $81.62 a barrel.
