KeyCorp Q3 Profit Rises to $537 Million as Revenue Climbs 8.3%

KeyCorp (KEY) reported third-quarter net income of $537 million, or $0.51 per share, up from $453 million, or $0.41 per share, in the same period last year. Revenue for the quarter rose 8.3% to $2.052 billion from $1.895 billion a year earlier. Adjusted earnings, excluding items, also came in at $537 million, or $0.51 per share, matching GAAP results. The Cleveland-based bank holding company's results reflect growth in both its bottom line and top line compared with the prior-year period. Non-GAAP figures are from continuing operations.
