Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur Composite Index is tipped to open higher on Wednesday after rising 7.49 points, or 0.47%, to close at 1,611.85 on Tuesday, building on a rebound from the prior session's pause in a four-day rally. The index traded between 1,606.14 and 1,611.94 during the session, with gains in technology and energy stocks offset by weakness in financial and telecom shares. The upbeat outlook for Asian markets follows a cautiously optimistic Wall Street session, where the S&P 500 added 0.60% to 7,722.60 and the NASDAQ gained 1.18% to 26,477.81, while the Dow edged up 0.03% to 52,377.57. Tech sentiment improved after Anthropic publicly filed for an initial public offering on Monday, and Nvidia (NVDA) and Meta (META) announced a partnership to expand work on the Muse family of models. Crude oil fell 1.70% to $100.03 per barrel as Gulf intermediaries sought to defuse Middle East tensions.
