Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur Composite Index may stall on Monday after rising nearly 15 points, or 1 percent, over two straight sessions to just above the 1,525-point plateau, with investors possibly taking profits. Asian markets face a directionless global outlook amid a lack of catalysts, and European and U.S. bourses were mixed and flat. The KLCI added 4.92 points, or 0.32 percent, to close Friday at 1,525.86, trading between 1,522.97 and 1,529.52, as financial gains were capped by telecom weakness and mixed industrials and plantations. Gamuda surged 3.50 percent, Public Bank rose 1.41 percent and Petronas Chemicals gained 1.20 percent, while Sime Darby fell 3.53 percent and Petronas Dagangan lost 2.30 percent. On Wall Street, the Dow fell 0.32 percent to 44,342.19, the NASDAQ added 0.05 percent to 20,895.66 and the S&P 500 slipped 0.01 percent to 6,296.79. August WTI crude fell $0.20 to $67.34 a barrel.
