Kroger Co. (KR) on Tuesday introduced an updated financial framework aimed at giving investors a clearer view of its core grocery business, projecting about 3% comparable sales growth in 2029, excluding fuel and pharmacy. The company targets a 3% to 6% adjusted EBITDA CAGR and 7% to 11% adjusted net EPS CAGR for fiscal 2027 through fiscal 2029. The new EPS targets replace its previous 8%-11% total shareholder return goal, which included dividend yield, and imply a stronger earnings outlook. Kroger also reiterated the full-year 2026 guidance it issued with second-quarter results. Shares traded at $63.71 pre-market, up 1.07% on the NYSE.
