Liberty Energy Inc. (LBRT) reported a third-quarter loss of $39.1 million on Wednesday, with adjusted earnings of 6 cents per share falling short of analyst expectations of 8 cents per share, according to a Zacks Investment Research survey of six analysts. The Denver-based hydraulic fracturing services provider recorded revenue of $1.2 billion, surpassing the $1.17 billion forecast by five Zacks-surveyed analysts. On a per-share basis, the loss amounted to 24 cents. The adjusted figure excludes one-time gains and costs.
