Cheniere Energy Q3 Profit Rises to $1.17 Billion as Revenue Climbs 39%

Cheniere Energy Inc. (LNG) reported higher third-quarter earnings, with net income rising to $1.170 billion from $1.049 billion in the same period last year. Earnings per share increased to $5.65 from $4.75 a year earlier, according to GAAP figures. Revenue for the quarter climbed 39.0% to $6.173 billion, up from $4.441 billion in the prior-year period.
