South Korea's stock market is expected to bounce higher on Wednesday after the KOSPI snapped a two-day winning streak, closing down 62.35 points, or 0.89 percent, at 6,941.39 on Tuesday. Financial shares, technology stocks and semiconductors led the declines. Volume totaled 257.27 million shares worth 19.1 trillion won, with 459 decliners against 424 gainers. The upbeat Asian forecast follows firm U.S. markets, where the Dow rose 0.49 percent to 51,521.28, the NASDAQ added 0.45 percent to a record 27,599.79, and the S&P 500 gained 0.58 percent to a record 7,818.93. Treasury yields pulled back after recently surging to multi-decade highs, and traders await the Federal Reserve's latest meeting minutes ahead of this month's rate decision. The U.S. trade deficit widened more than expected in August. November West Texas Intermediate crude slipped 0.2 percent to $89.25 a barrel.
