Medical Properties Trust Posts $63.8 Million FFO, $201.6 Million Net Income in Q3

Medical Properties Trust Inc. (MPT) reported third-quarter funds from operations of $63.8 million, or 11 cents per share, the Birmingham, Alabama-based real estate investment trust said Thursday. The company posted net income of $201.6 million, or 34 cents per share, for the period. Revenue totaled $250.1 million. Funds from operations, a closely watched measure in the REIT industry, adds back items such as depreciation and amortization to net income.
