NovaBridge Unit Visara Acquires Worldwide Rights to YOLO Immune's YOL104-2 for OSSN Treatment

Visara Inc., a subsidiary of NovaBridge Biosciences Inc. (NBP), said Wednesday it entered an asset purchase agreement to acquire worldwide rights to the YOL104 program from YOLO Immune, and will continue developing YOL104-2 as a treatment for ocular surface squamous neoplasia (OSSN). Under the exclusive options agreement, Visara gains worldwide development and commercialization rights to YOL104-2, a bioengineered trivalent interferon alpha peptibody targeting OSSN. Visara will make a one-time payment to YOLO and assume responsibility for development, regulatory and commercial milestone payments following the acquisition. OSSN produces cancerous and precancerous growths on the cornea and conjunctiva and may stem from sun exposure, HPV infection or weakened immune systems. NBP traded at $1.37, down 3.51%.
