NextEra Energy Q3 Earnings Top Estimates at $1.24 Per Share; Revenue Misses Forecast

NextEra Energy Inc. (NEE) reported third-quarter net income of $4.78 billion on Wednesday, or $2.28 per share, with adjusted earnings of $1.24 per share beating the $1.20 average estimate from five Zacks-surveyed analysts. The Juno Beach, Florida-based parent of Florida Power & Light posted revenue of $8.09 billion, falling short of the $9.09 billion expected by four analysts. NextEra guided full-year earnings to a range of $3.92 to $4.02 per share.
