Netflix Q3 Profit Rises to $3.664 Billion as Revenue Climbs 11.9%

Netflix Inc. (NFLX) reported higher third-quarter profit, with net income rising to $3.664 billion, or $0.87 per share, from $2.547 billion, or $0.59 per share, a year earlier. Revenue for the period grew 11.9% to $12.874 billion from $11.510 billion last year, the company said. Netflix guided fourth-quarter revenue to $13.4 billion and full-year revenue to $51.1 billion.
