Netflix Q3 Earnings Beat Estimates with $3.66 Billion Profit; Revenue Meets Forecasts at $12.87 Billion

Netflix Inc. (NFLX) on Tuesday reported third-quarter net income of $3.66 billion, or 87 cents per share, beating the average estimate of 82 cents per share from 13 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research. The Los Gatos, California-based streaming company posted revenue of $12.87 billion for the period, in line with Wall Street forecasts. For the current quarter ending in December, Netflix expects revenue in the range of $13.44 billion. The company projected full-year revenue of $51.1 billion.
