NANO Nuclear Signs 3-Year Engineering Pact With IMPSA for KRONOS Reactor; Shares Rise 3.16%
NANO Nuclear Energy Inc. (NNE) said Tuesday it signed a three-year Engineering Services Master Agreement with the U.S. subsidiary of Argentina-based IMPSA to support design and manufacturing readiness of its KRONOS Micro Modular Reactor Energy System. Shares rose 3.16% to $13.37 in pre-market trading on the Nasdaq. Under the agreement, IMPSA will conduct engineering reviews and manufacturing assessments for critical reactor components, including the reactor pressure vessel. IMPSA holds ASME N and ASME III N stamps, certifying it to engineer and construct Class 1 heavy nuclear components. The initial six-month program, supported by a retainer, aims to identify manufacturing constraints, inspection limitations, supply-chain risks and potential design improvements before production begins. IMPSA will review KRONOS MMR components against ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III requirements.
