Canyon Creek Food Reports Wider Q1 Loss as Sales Fall 2.4%

Canyon Creek Food Company Ltd. (CYF.V) posted a net loss of C$0.787 million, or C$0.02 per share, for the first quarter, widening from a loss of C$0.763 million, or C$0.02 per share, a year earlier. Revenue for the period declined 2.4% to C$1.63 million from C$1.67 million last year, the company reported. Per-share results were unchanged year over year despite the larger net loss, while the revenue contraction points to softer demand at the food producer.
