Samsung C&T Q3 Net Income Falls 1.5% to KRW 558.05 Billion Despite Higher Sales

Samsung C&T Corp. (028260.KS, 02826K.KS) reported Wednesday a 1.5% decline in third-quarter net income attributable to parent shareholders to KRW 558.05 billion from KRW 566.48 billion a year earlier, even as sales rose. Operating income climbed to KRW 1.14 trillion from KRW 993.43 billion in the prior year. Sales increased to KRW 12.01 trillion from KRW 10.15 trillion. The South Korean construction and engineering company's shares closed 7.81% higher at KRW 324,500 on the Korean Stock Exchange.
