Jos. A. Bank Opens Experiential Store in Georgia as Parent Tailored Brands Pursues IPO
Jos. A. Bank unveiled a 4,960-square-foot store in Peachtree City, Georgia, featuring a dedicated experience center for consultations, fittings and personalized service, parent company Tailored Brands said. The menswear retailer is also rolling out an updated assortment, including its Made in USA line and items made with Italian and other European fabrics. The concept comes as Tailored Brands prepares to return to public markets. In July, the company filed an S-1 registration statement for a proposed IPO, outlining plans to grow to roughly 200 Jos. A. Bank stores, 50 K&G locations and 250 Men's Wearhouse storefronts. Tailored Brands eliminated $686 million in debt after its 2020 Chapter 11 proceedings and is now owned by creditors. The company has reshuffled its C-suite, naming John Tighe as CEO and promoting Karla Gray to chief operating officer.
