Anthropic Files S-1 for Nasdaq IPO Under Ticker "ANT"; Goldman Sachs Named Lead Left, Morgan Stanley Second
Artificial intelligence company Anthropic has filed its S-1 registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for a Nasdaq listing under the ticker "ANT," with Goldman Sachs named lead left underwriter ahead of Morgan Stanley. Goldman will head the 22-bank syndicate, overseeing marketing and share allocation, while Morgan Stanley ranks second and serves as stabilizing agent. The lineup reverses early September reports by the Financial Times that had tipped Morgan Stanley for the lead left role. The pairing mirrors the two banks' roles on SpaceX's $86.25 billion IPO in June, the largest on record. Per Bloomberg data, Goldman ranks second globally in IPO underwriting this year behind Citigroup; Morgan Stanley is fifth. The syndicate also includes JPMorgan, Citigroup, Barclays, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, RBC, UBS, BMO Capital Markets, BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole CIB, Jefferies, Mizuho, MUFG, Societe Generale, TD Securities, BTIG, Cantor, Capital One Securities and Macquarie.
