Sun Pharma's UNLOXCYT Shows Durable Responses in Advanced Skin Cancer

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (SUNPHARMA) reported updated long-term data showing durable responses for UNLOXCYT (cosibelimab-ipdl) in advanced cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma, presented at ESMO 2026. Across three study cohorts totaling 205 patients, objective response rates ranged from 44.4% to 53.1%, with complete responses reaching 34.4% in locally advanced disease. The estimated probability of maintaining a response at two years ranged from 68.6% to 81.8%. Grade 3 immune-related adverse events occurred in 2.9% of patients, with no Grade 4 events or immune-related deaths reported. UNLOXCYT received FDA approval in 2024 for eligible adults with locally advanced or metastatic disease. SUNPHARMA.NS was trading at INR 1,748, down 0.57%.
