TA Services Acquires Two Texas Cross-Border Carriers, Adding 133 Trucks

TA Services acquired two El Paso-based trucking and logistics companies, Carmen Pacheco Transportation LLC and Interload Forwarding LLC, adding 133 power units, 123 drivers and 550,000 square feet of warehousing to its U.S.-Mexico cross-border network. Financial terms were not disclosed. The Mansfield, Texas-based third-party logistics provider announced the deal Tuesday, expanding operations in El Paso and Laredo, Texas. The transaction includes five warehouses and a truck yard covering about 10 acres. Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration records show CPT operates 61 power units with 57 drivers and reported nearly 8.3 million miles traveled in 2024. ILF operates 72 power units with 66 drivers and reported about 1.6 million miles in 2024. TA Services is the non-asset flagship division of PS Logistics. CEO Scott Schell said the acquisitions strengthen the company's ability to serve manufacturers moving freight through the U.S.-Mexico corridor. The family-owned carriers' employees and members of the Ibarra family will remain involved.
