Legora Raises $550M Series E at $8.8B Valuation as Legal AI Competition With Harvey Intensifies
Legal AI startup Legora said Wednesday it raised a $550 million Series E round at an $8.8 billion valuation, roughly doubling the $5.6 billion valuation from its Series D less than a year earlier. The company, which automates workflow tasks for legal professionals, said annual recurring revenue now exceeds $200 million, up from $100 million disclosed in April. The round was led by Atreides Management, with participation from Baron Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, General Catalyst, Menlo and others. Legora plans to use the capital to expand across North America. The financing comes a month after rival Harvey announced a $550 million raise at a $15.5 billion valuation. Harvey reported ARR above $200 million in March, setting up a direct contest between the two legal AI providers for enterprise clients.
