Daytona Raises $60M Series B at $1B Valuation Led by FirstMark Growth

Daytona Platforms announced Friday it raised a $60 million Series B round at a $1 billion valuation led by FirstMark Growth, bringing total funding to $91 million. The New York-based startup, founded three years ago, drew participation from angel investors including Stripe's Patrick Collison, Shopify's Tobi Lütke, Perplexity's Aravind Srinivas, Zoom's Eric Yuan, Datadog's Olivier Pomel, Quora's Adam D'Angelo and Mercor's Brendan Foody. Qualcomm Ventures, Samsung Next and Okta Ventures also participated. FirstMark previously led Daytona's $24 million Series A in February. Daytona is building a cloud platform designed for long-running AI agents, which it says require different infrastructure than traditional software. Founder Ivan Burazin said agents "spin up thousands of short, stateful jobs nobody planned in advance." The platform provides each agent with sandboxed access to Linux, Windows, macOS and GPUs on a single platform.
