Fuchs SE Posts 23% Profit Rise in Nine Months, Holds Upgraded 2026 Guidance as Volume Growth Set to Slow
Fuchs SE reported Friday that earnings after tax rose 23% to 281 million euros in the first nine months of fiscal 2026, from 228 million euros a year earlier, and maintained its recently raised full-year outlook. The German petroleum products company warned, however, that sales volume growth is expected to slow toward year-end due to pull-forward effects from the first half and seasonal factors. EBIT climbed 25% to 409 million euros from 326 million euros, with the EBIT margin widening to 13.1% from 12.1%. Revenue grew 16% to 3.126 billion euros, driven by higher volumes and inflation, with gains of 17% in Europe, Middle East and Africa, 13% in Asia-Pacific and 14% in North and South America. For fiscal 2026, Fuchs continues to expect EBIT of around 500 million euros, up from a prior range of 460 million to 480 million euros, and revenue of about 4.1 billion euros, above the earlier estimate of over 3.7 billion euros. The company said risks to volumes and margins remain high in the volatile market.
