Sigma Healthcare Reports 12.1% Sales Growth at Chemist Warehouse Australian Stores
Sigma Healthcare Ltd (SIG.AX) said Wednesday that sales at its Chemist Warehouse-branded Australian stores rose 12.1% for the period from July 1 to October 16, with like-for-like sales up 9.8%. International sales grew 30.2% in the three months ended September 30, while like-for-like sales rose 15.8%. The company said discretionary product sales remain subdued amid cost-of-living pressures, though beauty, healthcare and GLP-1 treatment products performed strongly. It also anticipates oral GLP-1 formulations entering the market in the second half of fiscal 2027. Shares closed Wednesday's trading 2.83% lower at A$2.750 on the ASX.
