Anthropic Files for Nasdaq IPO Under "ANT" as Revenue Surges 1,300%

Anthropic, maker of the Claude AI model, filed Monday for a public offering on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol "ANT," with the listing expected in November. Analysts project a valuation of $1.5 trillion to $2 trillion, which would make it one of the largest listings in history. The company plans to raise more than $100 billion to fund data centers, talent and model training. Revenue reached $16.3 billion in the first half of the year, up from $1.2 billion a year earlier, though Anthropic said it does not expect comparable growth going forward. Its net loss widened to $80 billion in the first six months of 2026 from about $13 billion in the same period of 2025. Consumption-based enterprise revenue totaled $13.1 billion, or 80% of the total, with about 250 customers paying $10 million or more. The filing flags risks including catastrophic misuse of its models and political backlash over AI regulation.
