Evri Acquires Cross Border Connect to Enter U.S. Parcel Delivery Market

Evri Group, the UK's largest pure-play parcel carrier, agreed to acquire Florida-based courier Cross Border Connect to enter the U.S. delivery market, the company announced on October 5, 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed. Boca Raton-based CBC operates an asset-light network using proprietary technology to manage pickup and customs clearance at six U.S. ports of entry, injecting packages at the nearest carrier hub. Co-founder Chris Lentjes will remain CEO. The deal follows DHL eCommerce's mid-2025 minority investment in Evri and Evri's earlier acquisition of Ireland-based customs specialist Coll-8. Evri moves more than 1 billion parcels and 3 billion business letters annually. Evri Chief Commercial Officer David Saenz said Cross Border Connect's network and customs capabilities, combined with Evri's air freight rates, could cut customers' cross-border delivery costs by up to 30%.
