Cogeco Communications Q4 Profit Rises to C$82.87 Million Despite Revenue Decline

Cogeco Communications Inc. (CCA.TO) reported higher fourth-quarter earnings, with net income rising to C$82.87 million, or C$1.97 per share, from C$77.42 million, or C$1.82 per share, a year earlier. Excluding items, the company posted adjusted earnings of C$86.54 million, or C$2.05 per share. Revenue for the period fell 1.9% to C$695.49 million from C$708.69 million last year, according to the GAAP figures.
