Honeywell Aerospace Projects 9,950 Business Jet Deliveries Over Next Decade, Up 4.4%

Honeywell Aerospace (HONA) on Monday forecast 9,950 new business jet deliveries over the next decade, a 4.4 percent increase from last year's outlook, citing sustained delivery growth and low retirement rates. The projection includes approximately 14,000 total business aircraft deliveries from 2026 and 4,200 turboprop deliveries. Honeywell expects the global business aviation fleet to expand about 29 percent, from roughly 39,400 aircraft in 2025 to nearly 51,000 in 2035. Annual deliveries are seen rising from about 1,280 aircraft in 2026 to more than 1,500 by 2035, with new aircraft value exceeding $37 billion annually by the end of the forecast period. Global business aviation flight hours are expected to grow approximately 34 percent, driven by fleet expansion and higher utilization among charter and fractional operators. Honeywell said the industry is approaching an inflection point as rising deliveries and low retirement rates accelerate fleet growth. Shares closed at $162.49 on the Nasdaq, down 3.33%.
