DSV Opens $90M Laredo Logistics Hub to Expand US-Mexico Freight Capacity

DSV has opened a $90 million, 853,000-square-foot logistics facility in Laredo, Texas, expanding the Danish logistics provider's capacity to handle freight moving between the U.S. and Mexico. The multi-client complex, located along Interstate 35, consolidates warehousing, transportation, customs brokerage, inventory management and distribution under one roof. It offers bonded warehousing and Foreign-Trade Zone storage, plus northbound U.S. customs services and on-site Mexican customs processing. The facility is part of DSV's broader push to strengthen its North American cross-border network, which includes a recently opened office in McAllen, Texas, and existing operations in Brownsville, El Paso, Los Indios and San Diego. DSV broke ground on the 49-acre Port Grande Logistics Park site in July 2025. Shippers currently hold solid negotiating leverage with carriers in Laredo, according to FreightWaves SONAR. As of Oct. 21, the Outbound Tender Rejection Index fell to 5.10% from 8.15% a month earlier.
