AltaGas Narrows Q3 Loss to C$21 Million as Revenue Rises 32%

AltaGas Ltd. (ALA.TO) reported a net loss of C$21 million in the third quarter, improving from a C$25 million loss in the same period last year, while revenue climbed to C$3.431 billion from C$2.598 billion. The loss per share was C$0.07, compared with a loss of C$0.08 a year earlier. Excluding items, the company posted adjusted earnings of C$91 million, or C$0.29 per share. AltaGas reiterated full-year EPS guidance of C$2.35 to C$2.60. The Calgary-based utility and midstream operator did not specify the reporting period's end date in the figures released Thursday.
