HD Korea Shipbuilding Q3 Net Income Falls 1.5% Despite Higher Sales, Operating Profit

HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. (009540.KS) reported Wednesday that third-quarter net income attributable to shareholders fell 1.5% to KRW 623.5 billion from KRW 633.2 billion a year earlier, even as sales and operating income rose. Operating income surged to KRW 1.4472 trillion from KRW 1.0538 trillion in the same period last year. Sales increased to KRW 8.2862 trillion from KRW 7.5815 trillion. The shipbuilder's shares were trading down 1.22% at KRW 243,500 on the Korean Stock Exchange.
