Northern Trust Q3 Profit Rises to $626.7 Million, EPS $3.40

Northern Trust Corp. (NTRS) reported third-quarter net income of $626.7 million, or $3.40 per share, up from $414.4 million, or $2.29 per share, a year earlier. Revenue for the period rose 13.3% to $2.294 billion from $2.025 billion last year. GAAP earnings per share came in at $3.40 versus $2.29 in the prior-year quarter.
