Nucor Q3 Earnings Rise to $1.32 Billion as Revenue Climbs 32%

Nucor Corp. (NUE) reported third-quarter earnings of $1.319 billion, or $5.80 per share, up sharply from $607 million, or $2.63 per share, a year earlier. Revenue for the quarter rose 32.0% to $11.249 billion from $8.521 billion last year. The steelmaker's results reflect higher earnings and sales compared with the prior-year period, according to the GAAP figures released.
